Set during World War II, 'Shadow in the Cloud' follows the story of Maude Garrett, a female flight officer who boards a B-17 Flying Fortress with a top-secret package. As she takes her seat in the lower turret of the aircraft, she faces hostility and sexism from the all-male crew. Despite their resistance, Maude is determined to complete her mission and prove herself as a capable officer. However, her presence becomes even more contentious when she claims to have orders from higher command that the crew must obey. As the flight progresses, strange and unexplained occurrences begin to unfold. Mysterious sounds and sightings outside the aircraft unsettle the crew, and Maude becomes increasingly isolated and distrusted. When an otherworldly creature attacks the plane, Maude finds herself in a desperate struggle to protect the aircraft and its crew. With her ingenuity and resilience, she battles both the creature and the crew's doubts. As the tension mounts and the situation becomes increasingly perilous, Maude's true mission and the nature of the mysterious package she carries are revealed. In a heart-stopping climax, she must confront both the external threat and the internal conflict within the crew in a fight for survival.
