During a fictional war in an unspecified location, a plane carrying four soldiers crashes behind enemy lines. The soldiers, including a young and inexperienced officer, a pragmatic and level-headed sergeant, a sensitive and philosophical private, and a cynical and ruthless corporal, must navigate through the hostile terrain to reach safety. As they journey through the dense forest, they encounter the enemy and are forced to confront their own fears and desires. The young officer becomes increasingly paranoid and obsessed with survival, the sergeant struggles to maintain his composure and lead the group, the private grapples with existential questions about the nature of war, and the corporal becomes increasingly unhinged and violent. Tensions rise within the group as they face moral dilemmas and personal conflicts. They encounter a young woman living alone in the forest, and their interactions with her further complicate their journey. As they attempt to outsmart the enemy and make their way back to friendly territory, they must also confront the darkness within themselves. The film explores the psychological and emotional toll of war, the complexities of human nature, and the blurred lines between heroism and barbarity.
