Set in 1920s French Indochina, Two Brothers tells the story of two tiger cubs, Kumal and Sangha, who are separated from their family and each other. The cubs are captured by hunters and sold to a circus, where they are cruelly trained to perform. However, they are soon rescued by a kind and compassionate man named Aidan McRory, who brings them to a Buddhist temple, where they are raised and cared for by a young boy named Raoul. As the cubs grow, they form a strong bond with Raoul and each other, but their peaceful existence is disrupted when they are separated once again. Kumal is sold to a prince who wants to use him for his own amusement, while Sangha is taken in by a governor who sees him as a trophy to display. The brothers must now face the challenges of their new lives, while never giving up hope of reuniting and returning to the wild. Along the way, they encounter various characters, both good and bad, who shape their destinies. As they navigate the harsh realities of human civilization, the brothers' journey becomes a poignant reflection on the bond between humans and animals, the importance of freedom, and the enduring power of family. Ultimately, their extraordinary tale serves as a testament to the resilience of the natural world and the timeless spirit of brotherhood.
