Gloria, a young woman from Tijuana, dreams of competing in the Miss Baja California beauty pageant. However, her aspirations take a dark turn when she becomes entangled with a drug cartel after a night out at a local nightclub. During the chaos of a shootout, Gloria is separated from her friend Suzu and is kidnapped by the cartel. The leader, Lino, forces her to work for them by threatening to harm her family if she doesn't comply. As Gloria becomes further embroiled in the dangerous world of drug trafficking and corruption, she must find a way to survive and navigate the treacherous landscape. Despite the harrowing circumstances, Gloria shows resilience and resourcefulness as she seeks to reunite with Suzu and ultimately escape the clutches of the cartel. Along the way, she faces numerous obstacles and dangers, but she also discovers her inner strength and determination. The movie showcases the gritty reality of the drug trade and the impact it has on the lives of ordinary people, while also highlighting the courage and perseverance of its protagonist, Gloria.
